Prompt development of constructivism has made a great influence to the field of current mathematics education. Constructivists submit their views of learning and teaching based on the theory of constructivism. The constructive studying goes like this (1) Study is a process druing which the learnings actively construct the internal psychological symptoms; (2) study is a process of affinity with a two-way construction, and also a process of "assimilation" and "conformance", which means cognitive framework is changing and recombining constantly. And the constructive teaching goes like this: teaching activities is a special process in which the teacher leads the students to the construction of the knowledgement through creating external learning environment. It is dialectical unity of the teacher's guiding and the students' construction.Constructivists believe in Random Access Instruction, Situated Learning, Scaffolding Instruction and Cooperative Learning. We propose principles of constructive teaching design based on theory of constructivism. They are: 1) intelligence-essential; 2) student-central; 3) environmental activity; 4) global construction; 5) The thesis also mentions the actual application in mathematics teaching enlightened by constructivism: 1) to create related situation actively; 2) try to raise valuable questions; 3) encourage mathematics experiments; 4) leading the students' active research; 5) enlighten students' converse thinking.To test the theory we have the experimental research in the teaching of "progression", and the result is positive. So we propose some teaching methods under the guidance of constructivism through experiment of teaching and researching.
