Brain science has acquired great achievements on the research ofhuman brain since 20th century, especially in the 1990s. Education aiming directly at the development of human being associates closely with human brain, while there is little application of the research findings in brain science. Today we are attempting to promote quality education and deeply put educational reform in practice, it is very necessary to pay attention to and apply the findings of brain science in order to provide education with new perspective and theoretical background. The research advance in brain science about the learning areas and the learning mechanism as well as learning principles in the brain offer theoretical support to reorient teaching and rethink the function of teaching. Herein, brain science also comes up with new demand and suggestions for teaching practice.The thesis has taken the learning research of brain science as theoretical background, that is to say, to survey teaching from the perspective of brain science. The thesis consists of four sections: the first section mainly introduces briefly the basic of brain science; the second section focuses on the research of brain science about learning; the third section demonstrates the necessity of putting brain science into the teaching field. There are two reasons: one is to endow teaching with new meanings; the other is to provide the teaching reform with new perspective and prove the teaching practices and reflect on them; the fourth section makes an attempt to discuss the teaching practices, that is, brain-based teaching in the perspective of brain science. By doing these, the goal is to introduce the learning findings in brain science into teaching field, and to make teaching based on brain science, and to construct teaching theory and teaching practice according with the running rules and the learning principles of human brain, eventually to form a new type of teaching based on the brain.
