It is noticeable that the teaching of middle school's history has been achieved a new stage since the Analysis of materials turned out in 1989. The 10 years' evolution of the Analysis of materials has shown that the trend of the reform of the university entrance examination is a progress from intellective-type to capable-type, thoughtful-type, and ideological-type, as well as from standard-type to unbound-type. On the basis of capability examination, this test question broke through the limitation of intellective-type, but set up the new train of thought on capable-type and synthetical-type. This trend does surely bring out the higher requirement for the teachers and students. Hence, it may impel that we will re-consider the current statement of middle school' s history, and strengthen the history teaching on thoughtful capability. It is also imperative to cultivate student' s capability of analyzing and solving the problems.Through analyzing the recent the Analysis of materials, it is obviously found in this paper that the current teaching statement of middle school' s history lagged with a lot of serious problem, so that it already hindered the cultivating of the history teaching on thoughtful capability. This paper discussed the reason why current teaching statement of middle school' s history lagged due to examination, teachers, and students. This paper also discussed the meaning of cultivating student' s thoughtful the Analysis of materials capability on history. Moreover, this paper focused on how to cultivate student' s capability on history.
