Graded Teaching Theory(abbr. GTT) is a innovatory thoughts in the fields of education as well as new exploration on the measures of quality oriented education. It has shown theoretical significance and practical value. The foundation of GTT includes ideas of student oriented education, structure-direction theory and optimum theory on teaching process.In recent years, the studies on GTT are mainly deal with theoretical level, their operational suggestion are too vague and too perceptual to be put into practice. Additionally, they are not dead against one subject or discipline. Therefore to overcome and improve the default of traditional system of appraising student's performance ,it is necessary to explore and study the application and contract practice of GTT in high school mathematicsBased on the GTT and aimed at the characteristics of math teaching in high school , the article has deeply discussed the implemental principal and operational process of Graded Teaching in detail, as well as a experiment and some suggestions for carry out Graded Teaching .About the process of subject grading, the article first divide the subject into some groups obviously, at the same time ,grade them in the teacher's mind. By this way the mechanism of cooperation within each group and the competition among groups would come into reality, so the passive effect of "label effect" would be decreased .to the ranking of teaching goals, the paper insist on the stimulating principals .during the teaching process, it is important to integrate individual teaching ,group teaching and collective teaching according to different teaching goals, tasks and student's features. Besides the article summarizes the steps of effiently organizing the teaching activity to make the whole teaching system function best.As given by the experiment ,by means of Graded Teaching many questions ,such as the fact of diverse of student's level versus the same request to every one, the contradiction between popularing and individual improvement and so on, would be resolved. The research is helpful to make mathematics teaching in the high school step into the orbit of quality-oriented education.
