Mathematical thought and method is the kernel of mathematical knowledge.Going at the teaching of mathematical thought and method during high school is an important means by which the school in the 21th century cultivate the person with innovative spirit and practical ability.Moreover going in for the teaching study of the mathematical thought and method in high school can make ours absorb well the international and national mathematical thought and methodology knowledge,and improve the cognition to the importance of the teaching about mathematical thought and method,so that they are able to practise consciously and selfconsciously the teaching.The article has studied the four aspects including the basis concept about mathematical thought and method, the purpose of teaching mathematical thought and method, the learning and teaching of mathematical thought and method.With the author's teaching practice ,it has exoatiated on the infiltration and exercise of mathematical thought and method during teaching. In the opinion of the article, the sweet fruit of mathematical teaching isn't the mathematical content which students have acquired directly in class but the mathematical thought and method behind the knowledge which students have had a true grasp and master,and improving the teaching of mathematical thought and method is the key of making the high school mathematical enducation modernizing.The article has adequately connected the theroy with the practice,it will make our maths teacher obtain revelation and enhancing,and play an important part to the mathematical teaching in high school.
