A Study On Xiamen's Private And Non-governmental Kindergartens' Present Situation And Methods We Might Take

Since the opening-up of our country, the private and non-governmental kindergartens in Xiamen have been developing quickly. They have been becoming an important part of the kindergarten education of this city and playing an indispensable role. But there are still a lot of problems in both the outer environment and inner administration. So badness and goodness are mixed together in the development of the private and non-governmental kindergartens. We should think about it carefully. This project is aimed to conclude both the successful and unsuccessful experience trying to find out the proper way to ensure the stable and healthy advancement of the private and non-governmental kindergartens.The research methods used are mainly qualitative combined with some quantitative methods. The techniques used are mainly interviews with some surveys.There are altogether four sections. The first chapter examines the development of private and non-governmental kindergarten in Xiamen in a national macroscopical era background. The second chapter focuses on the present situation analyzing the developing process and characteristic, effect, functions as well as the existing problems. The third chapter on the research of methods we might take is divided into two parts-improving the condition and enforcing the management of developing private and non-governmental kindergarten in Xiamen. It points out that it is necessary to either exchange ideas and take macroscopical management under certain and strict regulations as well as to construct the wholesome system, optimize the staff, increase the service sense and aim sense and really create strong brand with good education quality. The last chapter is prospecting the bright future of developing a special and containable way for the advancement of Xiamen's private and non-governmental kindergartens.
