There come new questions one by one, with the reforming and developing of Middle School Education During new century, What's the actuality and the future of Classical Chinese Methodology (CCM for short)? It is the very question that teachers pay more attention to.The modernity of CCM in middle school is not palpable : The text books are far away from modem life , so students are afraid to study them ; Being afraid students can't understand Classical Chinese themselves , teachers taught too much . Students felt very tired in learning it; The main purpose of teaching is to play at tests , not to undertake the abundant Chinese traditional culture to serve modern life .There are many reasons which caused these shortages : The individuality of Chinese words and the class consciousness of Classical Chinese made students be afraid of studying it ; There are many shortcomings in Classical Chinese text books ; The testing and evaluating did some inhibition to Classical Chinese teaching ; The teaching means of Classical Chinese is limited , especially , The modern teaching media was seldom used; The different level of Classical Chinese knowledge between teachers and students can not make progress each other; There are not good circumstances for students to learn Classical Chinese , and so on .How to strengthen the modernity of CCM in Middle Schools ? 1st, participators of Education should have some modern notions of CCM ; 2nd , go on deepening the reformation of Classical Chinese text books , and making this carrier of Classical Chinese have much more maneuverability ; 3rd , teachers' teaching methods don't stick to one pattern : They can not only use the traditional teaching methods for reference , but also bring in the western advanced ones . Try to use the excellent teaching methods to make CCM better and better ; 4th , build a learning circumstance which is full of modern atmosphere ; At last, build a testing and evaluating system which fit for modern CCM .
