Salary management is an organic part of management of organizations, it's an impontant economic means for modern organizations to recruit high quality talents,stablize staff to keep their high workimg powers and bettet achievements and realize coordination between the target of organization and that of development of staff.At present institutional wages system, drawn up unifiedly by our country, is still exercising in universities in china. With characters of planned economy, this position-grade wages system is of strong colour of equalitarianism. In such circumstances, working achievements and contribution, idea of competition, and motivate system are weakened. In order to solve these problems reforms of distribution system are earring out and new motivate system is forming.Adult colleges,owning to the limitations of operating level and scale, are not comparable with universities in efficiency. Due to the poor foundation, short investment and lower salary of staff, adult colleges are far behind the universities. So it's a difficult work for adult colleges to stablize the staff and absorb talents, talents' running off is becoming a serious problem in adult colleges.Under such inferior circumstances of adult colleges, seeking active salary patterns wich can satisfy ,motivate and stablize the staff, is of great significance.This thesis, through introducing the theory of salary management of west countries and researching the situations and problems of china's adult colleges, provides two salary patterns for refrernce. The ttesis is divided into four pars. Part 1: situations of China's adult colleges and some relevant concepts; part2: basic theory of salary management of west countries; part3: foundation and priciples of salary desighing; part4: two patterns of salary management.
