With its entrance into WTO, China has accelerated its process of globalization. The "tenth-five" Program provides a prosperous blueprint for our economic development. At the same time, measures such as changes in the economic structure, the implementation of the Investment into WestChina, and the expansion of college enrollment, have considerable impacts on the job market as well as the graduates. This thesis discussed the present states of job market in China, especially the employment situation for graduates from colleges recently. Its close analysis on the various factors affecting graduate employment results in the emphasis on the fierce competition in the job market and the expectation of more competitive graduates. After discussions on the quality of job finders, college education, and the government, this paper finally concludes with possible approaches to solve problems in the job market for graduates in the future. It wants to throw out a minnow to catch a whale and arise the society to concern over the employment of the undergrads and make scientific policy.
