The Village Elites in the IndustrializationCase Research of JiangcunAbstractDividing into two phases, the administration-oriented period and the market-oriented period, of the village industrialization within the framework of social relationship and country as a whole since the reform and opening-up of China, this paper analyzes the change taking place within village elites?routine work, the structure of authority, the integration of society, macrostructure of the country, and perfects and supplements the theory of social capital as well as the circulating theory of village elite .With the village industrialization , the paper argues that the flowing of village elite has moved from reproduction to circulation as its basis ,the mechanisms of obtaining and maintaining of elite's social status have been transformed from organization into operation ,and the manner of social integration has developed into integration of multiple operation and authority from that of group factories. Self-determination and inner tradition of villages, state and local administrating interference, industrialization have been the basic variables that influence elite's routine work .Lt should also be noted that social relationship has great influence upon the obtaining and maintaining of elite's social status.
