Interpersonal relationship has always been a hot problem in the sphere of social Psychology. The first westerner studying it was an English Sociologist, Simmel. He published the book in 1908: Sociology: On the form of social contact. In the thirties, American Social Psycho- logist, Moreno, established a social metrological method to analyze relational material. Then, a lot of theories began to be produced, eg: Symbolic Interactionism, Theaterism, Echnomethodology and Social Exchange Theory. In Asia, thinking about questions from a relational angle, is one of the features of the Asian thoughts (HeYouhui, 1998). Especially in China, the older sociologists and social psychologists such as ShunBenwen, PangGuangdan, ChenDa, YangKaidao, FeiXiaotong, etc, has taken a Chinese stand to study the question early in the twenties. For the recent ten years, the social psychologists in Hong Kong and Taiwai such as YangZhongfang, YangGuosu, HuangGuangguo, HeYouhui, etc, set off another "Indigenizational" academic activity. They respectively produced the following viewpoints: Disparity Patternism, Social -orientationism, Harmonism and Moral-orientationism, etc. However, due to the different social and cultural backgrounds, the western theories are unaccustomed to the climate of the new place when they are used to explain the relationship between Chinese. Meanwhile, the Chinese scholars would always research the potential significance from a traditional angle, and seldom reveal the developing sequence in a historical light. The writer is trying to study the sequence in a historical light. Guided by the dialectical materialist point of view, the writer applied a historical materialist principle, adopted some linking-each other meth- ods such as theory with practice, history with logic, vertical comparison with horizontal comparison, inquired into the changing process of the Chinese interpersonal relationship from several subjects: philosophy, sociology, psychology, economy and ethics, etc, and mainly discussed the antagonism of the relational pattern during the transition period. At last, the writer put forward his own tentative plan from an institutionally built angle in order to solve the chronic troubles and make the people interact more smoothly.
