Our eighth national curriculum reform,which matches up with the society , meets the demands of our political and economic developments. We have made great progress in such aspects as curriculum function,structure,content,conduct and evaluation. The new reform of physics curriculum in senior high school which started in Wenzhou city since 2006 has stepped into its fourth year. During the three years , what progress have we made ? What trouble have we been in? In order to find out the problems timely and provide the decision-maker with first-hand information of the reform accurately, we must carry out a comprehensive and thorough research on the current status of the physics curriculum reform in Wenzhou city.The paper mainly draws upon means of literature, interviews and questionnaire method. The questionnaires include both teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire. The content of teacher questionnaire contains the supporting system of the physics curriculum , the reconstruction of management system in high schools and the changing of teachers' educational performance. And the content of student questionnaire contains students' interest in learning physics , students' learning behavior and manner, and so on. Finally, some strategies of further reform are put forward : Strengthening the functions of headmasters, enhancing the confidence of teachers , improving the quality of teacher training, playing the role of school-based research, and developing the resources of physics curriculum.
