Physical experiment is the base of generating physical hypothesis validating and generalizing the laws of physics, and plays an important role during students’ learning of physical knowledge. Now, the new reform of curriculum for high school puts forward higher requirement in physical experiment. Various regions encountered many problems during the new reform of curriculum. Guangxi province as the last area of the new reform of curriculum in the country, after the reform carried out one year, how the status in the physical experiment? What problem had encountered?Whether or not there is obviously difference in different school with different conditions, and how to solve it? The author tried to conduct an in-depth research in teachers and students among the high schools which can represent different school with different condition in Nanning, and classified and summarized the existing problems, then presented suggests for them. Through the investigation, we found that the conditions of physical experiment had been greatly improved, can reach the new standards approximately in high school of Nanning. However, there are still some problems. For example, some schools are not enough emphasis on physical experiment; the time is arranged unreasonably; the structure of professional laboratory assistants is uncoordinated; most instruments can’t reach the standard or leave unused;experimental courses in a low open rate; unscientific experiment examination;exchanges between laboratory assistant are too few, teacher training is inadequate,and so on. In response to these problems, this paper proposes six recommendations as following:1) Change teaching concepts, improve laboratory construction; 2)Configure the instrument according to the actual needs of teaching; 3) do a good job in maintenance work for Instruments, and encourage teachers to develop experimental resources; 4) improve teachers’ understanding and adaptability for the new standard; 5)emphasis on experiment, arrange experimental course scientifically and reasonably,improve experimental assessment system; 6)enhance the quality of teachers.This paper is a survey for reform about physical experiment status in the high school, since the implementation of the new curriculum reform in Nanning city Guangxi province. I hoping it can provide some reference value for the new curriculum reform in Guangxi.
