At Present,The GEF Project focused on contradiction between rural social economic development and ecological environmental protection is implemented in Gansu province, which will be new practice to the peasant household livelihood structural theory. Has the peasant household family livelihood structure get qualitatively changed, is the production and live style advantageous to the resources sustainable use? The present paper combined husbandry development projects supported by World Bank loan"the community development and protection of grassland's mutual research", chose the representative Quanwan village in Anding area and the Liufen village in Suzhou area as the studied region. Take exploring the peasant livelihood income structure efficiency in the GEF project area in Gansu Province as the starting point, under the instruction of institutional vicissitude theory, referring to the domestic and foreign system vicissitude experience, through the time scale analysis of peasant household livelihood structure, contrasted the peasant household livelihood structure before and after the project implementation, analyzed influencing factors to the peasant household livelihood structure, using logistic model analyzed the impact scale of every factors to the peasant household livelihood structure, applied Malmquist index and the DEA model in the peasant household livelihood structure dynamic evaluation, and assessed the efficiency change of microscopic structure of peasant household livelihood. The study give some recommendations aimed at improving rural household livelihood structure and promoting the regional integrative development, and point out the influence to the sustainability and long-term impact of the GEF Project, thus to provides certain references to achieving the goal of ecology restoration, the husbandry household family structure's reforming development in ecology frail area and resources-and-community management in the arid area, also provides the reliable basis to further optimizes and the adjustment for the research area's livelihood structure.Draws following conclusion through the research paper:1) Mid and low earning peasant households'and the labor income increases obviously after the project implementation, the farming income proportion drops largely; Higher earning households'gross income and labor income relatively slow increase, the total agricultural income increase, and the relative proportion decline. Divergent of household management structure further expand.2) The participation will of farmers is affect by household age, level of education, whether the family has village cadres, distance from town, geographical location and other factors, and will be constantly changing as these factors change. Farmers considering various factors before make participation decisions, their behavior is rational. In the study area, QuanWan farmers'willingness is more strongly than Liufen village.3) Institutional change is an important factor affecting the restructuring of farmers'livelihood. GEF ecological restoration project economic performance shows continuous improvement of rural economy is the important prerequisite for rationalization of household income structure design.4) The efficiency of the differences of different marketing degree of farmers increased, and changes of livelihood structure efficiency ultimately brings corresponding household income changes, the industry of the income growth. Low and mid marketing degree of farmer household exists efficiency losses in the family business caused by the insufficient input, and the type of household labor is more obvious efficiency advantage on migrant work, especially above the higher marketing level farmers in the technical efficiency advantages.
