| Graduate cooperative education is an important measure, which helps universities to accumulate resources , to expand education space, to get through the bottleneck of education quality,and the inevitable choice for cultivating innovative talents in the knowledge-based economy era. Making teaching, scientific research, production as a whole, graduate cooperative education, also, is an effective way to coordinate graduate education scale and structure with economic and social development. However, graduate cooperative education with relatively short history is not mature in models and its mechanism. Many problems emerged in the cognition and practice of cooperative graduate education, and seriously hampered its development.In order to clarify the misunderstanding, to grasp the essential characteristics of cooperative graduate education, in this paper, the relationships between graduate cooperative education and the national innovation system, the overall development of graduate students, the creation of knowledge were be discussed. Research shows that graduate cooperative education played an important role in the economic and social development, human development and science and technology development. Meanwhile, the intrinsic relationship among teaching, scientific research, and production also be discussed, one of each represents the major functions of a university and mutually integrated as a whole in cooperative graduate education process.In practice, after reviewing the history and current situation of graduate cooperative education in China, questionnaire survey and interview methods were used in this study to analysis the Huazhong University of Science and Technology's (HUST) framework, models, mechanisms and the results of cooperative graduate education. Also, problems around the intrinsic motivation, the implementation of educational philosophy, the distribution of benefits, the financial and moral risks and the management system, were discussed. The strategy measures to promote graduate cooperative education were proposed after analyzing the original causes of those problems. |
