Information theory has been the view of the theoretical concern of the education sector. This study has been the one of subject of "education under the concept of information theory to explore - based on the theory and practice of mathematics education research platform" and this program has also been identified for 2011 Planning of Zhejiang Provincial Education priority scientific topics. First of all, this study tried to start from the mathematics teaching, the theory of information transmission and processing of further exploration, and design appropriate information transmission and processing model. After the empirical research, on the one hand, I did case analysis of the subject "echelon", compared two teachers in class Record; on the other hand, I used questionnaires: (1) In accordance with TPCK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), to design scale characteristics of teachers to study the transmission of information; (2) to seek tendency explanation of teachers for the various phenomena of students in problem-solving.The results of this study are the following:(1) The new concept of the main information, additional information and modular information processing in Information theory are recognized by most middle school math teacher. Compared with traditional and non-professional explanation of "student problem solving errors as a result of careless", and psychology "Thinking Set", the largest proportion teachers of Middle Schools in Mainland and Taiwan tend to recognize froming our information perspective view of the phenomena of students in problem-solving.(2) The model of information transmission and processing of this study can comparative analysis the class record of different teachers effectively on the same topic, with a certain degree of promotion and revelatory.(3) The Capacity of High school mathematics teachers in Mainland for the certain content of mathematics to select a variety of multimedia content and teaching methods to pass information,the average is significantly higher than the junior high school mathematics teachers. At the same time both the junior high school or high school mathematics teacher, the capacity of teaching in different ways to help students receive better mathematical information, and the integration of multimedia to transmit Mathematics information needs to be strengthened.Finally, teaching suggestions for mathematical teachers in classroom teaching ,(1) Pay attention to the role of main information, additional information, the Deputy Information to teaching effectiveness(2) Pay attention to the regularity and integrity of construction of student information processing module(3) Pay attention to the diversity of mathematical information presentation, and with multimedia integration(4) Pay attention to explain the phenomenon of students in a variety of problem-solving cases from the information point of view...
