The success or failure of classroom teaching is frequently determined by its Mathematics teaching design as a presuppose before class.In order to have a good lesson,Math teachers would examine it with different perspective,which a meaningful view is naturally information processing.Therefore,This paper focuses on the study of Mathematics teaching design by information processing theory and its relevance.This study is from two aspects that are theoretical research and empirical research.Firstly,the existing theory about information processing and Mathematics teaching design at home and abroad are elaborated.Secondly,the application of Gagne's information processing model in Mathematics teaching design is given some specific statement.Meanwhile,four major parts in a lesson,presentation,examples teaching,summary and teaching media design,are discussed.Moreover,some strategies and solutions are put forward.Lastly,under the analysis of the result coming from some investigations by questionnaire survey andinterview,the summary has been made.Therefore,the corresponding suggestion in teaching design has been proposed by the relevant theory about information processing and Mathematics teaching design.(1)Presentation design:Not only to concern with establishing the relationship of mathematical information processing module back and forth,but also balance appropriately the relationship of module between life information processing and mathematical information processing.(2)Examples teaching design:Emphasize the process that students solve the problem of mathematical examples with information processing view,as well as the various ways of presenting examples.(3)Summary design:it is vital to construct the module of its regularity and integrity when students are doing information processing,and educate them to form the ruminant habit.(4)Teaching media design:Pay attention on the relationship of information like information reading,teacher's spoken language,infor-mation storing and its presentation and so on,and the activation of information presentation and information processing module.
