At present teachers professional development has become an issue that influence the education reform and development of the time.Our higher vocational education development history is short, and lack of system research to higher vocational teachers professional development. But higher vocational teachers professional development is of great significant to promote the overall level of higher vocational teachers. Therefore it is necessary to combine higher vocational education"the school-enterprise cooperation, work-integrated learning"school-running concepts and teaching ideas, higher vocational education double teacher structure team and double teacher quality requirements to research higher vocational teachers professional development system and in-depth. This study aims to explore higher vocational teachers professional development, the connotation, structure, the present situation, the basic issue .Formed the suitable strategy for our higher vocational teachers professional development. And to provide theoretical of realistic basis for the reality for our higher vocational teachers professional development.This study on the basis of research that in reference to the vast of teachers professional development. Through documentary reference, case method and the investigation methods, understand the situation of higher vocational teachers professional development; discuss the basic issues that affect higher vocational teachers professional development. To form higher vocational teachers professional development strategy which based on higher vocational education attribute and characteristics of higher vocational teachers.Thesis mainly consists of five parts:Part one: Introduction. Introduce the origin of this thesis. From teachers'professional development and higher vocational teachers professional development two dimensions to review the present situation of the research. To define the related concepts of higher vocational teachers professional development: higher vocational education and higher vocational teachers, double teacher structure and double teacher quality, vocational and professional, teachers'professionalization and teachers'professional development. Finally briefly introduce the research methods and ideas of this thesis.Part two: Higher vocational teachers professional development outline. First introduce the connotation of higher vocational teachers professional development. From the concepts of higher vocational teachers'professional development and the characteristics of higher vocational teachers professional development two dimensions to analyze. Then based on the analysis of the existing research, come to the conclusion that the structure of higher vocational teachers professional development except including professional concept, professional knowledge, professional skills, professional spirit of inner professional structure, still including professional system of external professional structure.Part three: Case investigation of higher vocational teachers professional development.
