The article is based on the context of the geography new curriculum reform in high school, "High school curriculum standards GEOGRAPHY (experimental)" requests the geography experimental teaching in the basic philosophy, curriculum goals, content standards and other aspects of specific requirements for the first time, combined with Geographic Science is a very practical subject characteristics, the teaching methods of he geography experimental teaching are discussed. The classes of the geography experimental teaching in the high school, to achieve innovative spirit and practical ability, seek new methods of teaching innovation. This paper argues that to be able to better stimulate students interest in geography, to deepen the understanding and application of geographical knowledge, for different type of experiment needs to take the appropriate teaching methods, to achieve the innovative spirit and hands-on practical skills and teamwork spirit training.Based on the study, the teaching method of GPDI is used in the specific geography experiment, and to make more interpretation about how to reflect the teacher's guide, the main role of the students and the aspects of guidance, probe, discovery, induction how to express. T the scope of the GPDI method in experimental teaching of high school, and compare to the existing methods of geography teaching, to found the advantages and disadvantages and the need to improve.The specific content of this paper is divided into the following sections:The first part is an introduction, including research background, the significance of the study, study status, this paper to study the teaching methods and the approach adopted.The second part is related to the concepts of the geography experimental teaching and the theory of the experimental method, including constructivism theory, multiple intelligences theory, geography teaching theory.The third part is the structure and system of the GDPI teaching method. to explain and discuss the relationship between all sectors, and then elaborates on the whole system.The fourth part is under the guidance of the above theories and methods to design the specific case of geography experimental teaching and to make explanation. The fifth part is the discussion of the GPDI teaching method, including compare to the teaching methods of the past, the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching method, the scope in high school and improvement.The sixth part is the conclusion part.
