It's the consensus shared by massive Chinese teachers in Middle Schools that writing and reading are integrated, which can complement one another and efficiently enhance the students' proficiency in Chinese Language. However, in the theories and practice study of reading and writing integration, most of the time, we only pay attention to writing's instruction to writing, and our study is largely on how foster writing ability through reading, and neglect the writing's reaction to reading. Consequently few educators study on the method of enhancing reading ability through writing. The adverse study between reading and writing is the weak link in the research of reading and writing integration. This will get in the way of interaction between reading and writing and the overall implementation of reading and writing integration.Based on the documentation study, this thesis describes and analyzes the status-quo and disadvantage of teaching of promoting reading by writing. Transfer theory and reading and writing integration theory are the base of this thesis. From four aspects: thinking correspondence between writing and reading, behavior integration between writing and reading, ability mutual-promotion of writing and reading and unity of writing training and reading teaching, the writer further clarifies the interaction between writing and reading as well as the enhancement to the teaching of reading, deals with the feasibility of promoting teaching of reading by writing. In Part Three, the writer chooses the common detail description, characterization and use of conflicting in literature writing as the study objects of promoting the teaching of reading, and respectively select the angles which reader interested including:skill of detail description, flaw and varied character, use of conflicting, and elaborate their connotation and application in the teaching of reading, study the instructive meaning to the teaching of reading, and demonstrate that it is feasible to promote the teaching of reading by writing.The research on promoting teaching of reading by writing is to deepen teaching of reading through writing theory, skill, thinking and practice. This is a long and hard study course. This thesis intends to do some specific, practical and meaningful study on promoting reading by writing in reading and writing integration, in order to help the teaching of reading and upgrade students'proficiency of reading.
