Scientific literacy is the core of science education. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, and various international student assessment projects have been held, many countries expressed strong concern about students scientific literacy, it has been recognized as constraining the development of national science and technology affect their international competitiveness of the main factors.The Chinese education has always been considered as "attaching great importance to the study of knowledge but paying less attention to the students'capacity". Last year, Shanghai has made in PISA2009, the international comparison of student ability. It immediately triggered a global heated debate.This study was designed based on the biological disciplines, in order to explore the relationship between the basics and science literacy of middle school students. At the same time, the research studied the abnormal cases, we would like to reveal the main cause which lead to such performance, and to get some advice to the teaching and evaluation of students'science literacy.
