| This thesis is aimed at researching that the case study based on microbial experimental activities of shanghai subway stations will improve the junior high school students' literacy of life science or not to some extent,under the new curriculum reform, with the core concepts of life science curriculum standards, inquiry experimental activities and theory about literacy of life science.In 2004,Shanghai Education Committee published "Shanghai life science Curriculum Standards of Ordinary high school", in which the core content of the implementation of the curriculum standards is that all junior high school students will improve the quality of literacy of life science.The way of enhancing the junior high school students' literacy of life science are many, but but the biological activities of inquiry experiments has merits that other methods can not match,with which combines the special features of experimental teaching.It has a unique advantage on improving students' literacy of life science.In this paper, the case study based on microbial experimental activities of shanghai subway stations as the starting point,sort the relationship between literacy of life science and inquiry experimental activities from the theoretical level,explore how to conduct this experiment activities to promote the improvement of junior high school students'literacy of life science from the practical level,and how to measure the degree of realization of junior high school students' literacy of life science in this activity.This research used literatures,questionnaires,interviews, experiments and other research methods to study from theoretical and practical level.Firstly,reviewed the background and philosophy of the new curriculum,and reviewed the meaning of scientific literacy and its development process by literature;Described in detail the main elements and dimension of literacy of life science,and the relationship between literacy of life science and inquiry experimental activities. And sorting the theory of inquiry experimental activities on training the junior high school students' literacy of life science.Explore the unique advantage about the case study based on microbial experimental activities of shanghai subway stations to improve junior high school students' literacy of life science.Secondly,by selecting students to participate in experimental activities,then constitute the experimental group that participate in the experiment and control group that do not participate in the experiment.The arrangement of the experiment progress and the content are revised and adjusted by the information which feed back according to the students. After carrying out the inquiry experimental activities testing the related students.Meanwhile using formative evaluation, to master the development of students through the evaluation and observation for student's three dimensions of knowledge, ability, emotion attitudes and values.Finally, according to the activities' result of the case study propose some advice.To be engaged in providing the theory and practice of strategic method of operation of interesting reference, for future researchers in this direction.Improve junior high school students'literacy of life science better and better.This paper gets it conclusions through questionnaires and process assessments 1. Dimension of Knowledge and Skills:With the presence of the exploratory experiments, the biological quotient of the participating students appears far higher than that of those who do not participate. 2. Dimension of Process and Methods. With the presence of the exploratory experiments, students'practical ability, as well as their designing and analyzing ability, appears to be greatly improved. It is also the same case with their sense and ability of innovation, which makes them observe and quest. What's more, cooperation and exchanges between students are also improved through stronger language ability. 3. Dimension of attitude and values. Through these exploratory experiments, participants gets more serious, more careful and more objective towards experimental results and data. Therefore, their habits of hygiene, and of reflection, as well as their sense of live are equally strengthened. |
