The family education is the basic of all kinds of education and the spreading and extending of school education which the secondary school students accept. The effective family education has a profound impact on the children who are accepting the secondary education. As for parents, the process to carry out the family education itself is self-life-long education process. However, the current issues existing in Chinese family education restrict that education effect and behavior, among these the key is the lack of understanding between parents and their children.Nowadays, the family education issues which secondary students' Parents facing during carrying the family education are the following:Cognitively, parents blindly believe that the invalid element of family education is Chinese society and school education which lead children become so complex and difficult to implement, which is a type of cognitive model of condemnation, it will make parents to focus on the external environment and a number of external factors, so parents have no time to attend to clarify their own thoughts.Emotionally, the type of cognitive mode of condemnation is filled with the parents' brain all day, so parents can not calm their inner feelings, and make themselves fall into angry, blaming, complaining, not controlling,even not Extricating themselves from the negative forces of the mood which the complex situation out of control results.Behaviorally, under the influence and other social factors, parents often easily fall into the behavior patterns of family education which are simple, rude, spoiled, connivance or tolerance such as.Family is the basic unit of social organization, when the behavior patterns and its effect of family education, which necessarily leads to the concern from different areas of society. This research just comes into being in this context, because the understanding is the assurance of all human being social activities smoothly carried out and the fundamental way to resolve all the problems of communication and interaction.In view of the prominent status of family education issue, and much concerns and efforts from the different areas of society, the author of this research advocates the concept of greater understanding of family education, its aim is to call the central figure-parents put their hands to the plough to do by themselves and enhance their own self-understanding of the family educational capacity.The main meaning of the family education competency is that parents established themselves on the self-cognitive models in the progress of family education activities and engage in changing their old emotion state and behavior patterns. The family education competency mainly displays on three aspects:the Cognitive competency to understand, the emotional competency to understand, the Practice competency to understand. The Cognitive competency to understand is a skill that parents understand themselves and the object they educate very well through the relevant channels and multi-dimensional ways; the emotional competency to understand is a skill that parents understand the nature of the emotional experience and the existing state of themselves and the object they educate; the Practice competency to understand is that parents have the positive impact on the object they educate with the help of some theoretical and practical ways after parents coordinate the Cognitive competency and the emotional competency to understand.In short, the family education competency is a kind of understanding which is historical, not to be finished finally, always looking forward to the future, and running through the whole process of family education.
