Attempt To Establish A System Of Argumentative Writing Objectives In Senior High School

Writing occupy half of mother-tongue teaching, and argumentative style is the top priority in Senior secondary Writing. However, their classroom teaching situation, contrary to the significance, is worrying. The reason lies in that, the determinacy of argumentative writing instructional objectives are not clear. Consequently, this paper took" argumentative writing instructional Objectives" as the research object, and tried to establish its target system. All this is to provide some bases of argumentative writing in teaching.Literature Review and Comparative Study are the main Methods used in this thesis. This paper combed domestic and foreign native language curriculum standard, textbooks. And, on this basis, concluded the objectives of the argumentative writing. Then, these objectives were classified, stratification by using the taxonomy of educational objectives.The paper is composed by four parts:The first is prolegomenon. This section summarized the argumentative writing examination both in and abroad, defined the core concept of this article, Introduced the research ideas, research methods, the research significance and innovative points. The second part is the generalization about the content of argumentative writing, which in the domestic and foreign native language curriculum standards, then, analyzed argumentative writing teaching values from the generalization, and did the horizontal comparison among them. The third part is the extraction and analysis based on argumentative writing compiled in three sets of current textbooks, then, did overseas comparison with foreign argumentation textbook. In the fourth part, the taxonomy of educational objectives was used to classify and stratify the objectives got in the analysis both in native language curriculum standards and all above textbooks. Finally, for the purpose of improving the target caste system is practical, this paper showed an instructional design on argumentative writing in senior high school class according to one of the objectives.
