The Exploration Of Fuzhou Learning City's Construction

In the rapidly changing era of information technology of 21st century, city competition was pushed to the forefront of international competition. By the impact of the thought of international lifelong education and learning social, making our country an invincible position, maintaining the creativity and competitiveness of the whole people, our country made a timely manner to build lifelong education system, the construction of learning for all, lifelong learning, learning society's new goals. Cities as parts of society are rich in educational resources and a good learning environment, therefore the construction of learning city as a carrier advocating lifelong learning, promoting the formation of learning society. So our country implements the grand goal of the scientific concept of development, building a moderately prosperous society, we should take an important way on promoting the learning city construction. Firstly, this article briefly focuses on the theory of concerning about learning city's root , and then integrated analysis of previous studies, summarized the definition of learning city, characteristics and functions; Secondly, through analysising the practice mode of learning city construction at home and abroad, summarized the effective way of learning city construction and put forward the formation of the learning city's relative standards; Thirdly through the SWOT analysis, analysis that the current of Fuzhou to build a learning city in which the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges; Finally, combined with the actual situation of Fuzhou, learning the successful experience of the construction of learning city at home and abroad, from the theory to raise feasibility strategies about building a learning city of Fuzhou.
