The Study Of Social Support System To Floating Employed

Social support is a support system, which is based of social networks, including parents, relatives, friends given spiritual or material help and support. This study use the concept of social support to research the special groups of floating employed (including floating employed who are self-employed and floating employed who are be-employed). In the specific study, social support is divided into two classes, that are formal social support and informal social support two types.This study used qualitative methods to research, respondents are 14 floating employed of which, 7 were self-employed and 7 be-employed. Survey methods are participatory observation and intensive interview. We found that floating employed are the groups easy to happen to social conflicts, who with the big age span and the big region span, with the low educational level, with the lower income levels, lacking of appropriate vocational skills competition in the market, the stronger instability, and the poor ability of the risk.Floating employed are such groups to provide convenient for people's daily life and contributed to the development for the city, however they also bring security to urban development, health problems, traffic congestion and other symptoms. Because of considering of governance urban environment and improving the image of the city, government do not give floating employed policy support, on the contrary, government keep a tight rein on them. In fact, the kind of measure can not provide floating employed any support and protection, instead of weaken the support and protection in all other aspects.The study focuses on the social support system to floating employed, according to the actual situation of the floating employed, including family, relatives, friends and government, community. According to the results of the survey, to the floating employed, the role of informal social support is obviously, specifically, regardless of instrument support, emotional support and social association support, the help of genetic relations are very important. The role of geopolitical relation is important on the aspect of information support. Genetic relations and geopolitical relations make the informal social support diversification and multi-function.Compared with the informal social support for floating employed, formal social support brings some limited and imperfect to them. Many policies and regulations of government make the life of floating employed difficult. On the same, community does not do its duty. Special vocational characteristic of floating employed make them can't reach the position of legitimate, but reasonable.Based on the study above, we make some feasible proposal from the following aspects, such as the floating employed itself, families, communities, government four aspects. On the way of strengthening the role of informal social support, enhancing the function of communities and government, emphasizing at all levels into social workers, promoting the social support system flow employed in construction with the participation of social workers, which will promote social stability, promote people solidarity , and eventually will conducive to the building of a harmonious socialist society.
