| Teaching method, the bridge or the intermediary that contacts teachers, students and teaching content together, is the means and methods used in the process of developing the formulated teaching content into the teaching activity. The success of teaching is directly related to the adoption of proper teaching methods, which can greatly influence the teaching efficiency and teaching effectiveness. Therefore, studying the adoption of teaching methods used in the curriculum reform could well reflect the implementation of the new curriculum reform and its actual impact on teachers and students.This article analyzes the situation of mathematics teaching methods in middle school mainly from the following four parts.In the first part, this paper introduces the basic theory of mathematics teaching methods and the mathematics teaching methods used popularly today. In china, mathematics educators and researchers of middle school began the study of mathematics teaching methods in the early 50s,20th century, and fruitful research results were achieved in the late 70s. This article will explain the definition of mathematics teaching, simply summarize the reform history of mathematics teaching methods in China, and describe the representative teaching methods after all the researches, and then, we will introduce classification of mathematics teaching methods today, including the explaining teaching method, self-study guidance method, discussion-style teaching method, interactive teaching method and multimedia teaching method.In the second part, we introduce the design and process of this survey. To make a statement to the survey research methodology in detail, including research and the overall sample, research tools, the process of data acquisition, the methods of processing data. From two aspects of students and teachers to investigate today's status of mathematics teaching methods used by mathematics teachers in middle school.In the third part, according to the survey, I report the findings obtained from the survey research. The author summarizes the teaching methods used usually by mathematics teachers, and holds that there exists mechanization, formalization and haphazardry in the teaching methods selected by teachers, and thinks that most of the changes in teaching methods are only in form, but lack of substantive changes. Overall, the main teaching methods used by teachers are the explaining teaching method, self-study guidance method and multimedia teaching method.In the it analyzes and reflects the current situation of teaching methods used by teachers, explores the problems and their causes exist in choosing the right teaching methods, and explores that whether they are impacted by the new curriculum. On this basis, the author summarizes the findings and their significance. |
