Chemistry is a science based on experience, so training chemical experiment ability is an important goal of chemistry education. However, for a long time, training chemical experiment ability has not attracted the attention of the public, teaching methods is single and one-sided approach, which led to the one-sided malformations of development of students'capacity in chemical experiment. After the new curriculum reform, the education sector began to focus on the training of chemical experiment ability. There are more and more relevant aspects of research from then on. But most of these studies focus on teaching, and neglect of the characteristics of students'study and existing cognitive structures.Based on the types of multi-dimensional learning and interactive project, this paper explore the theory and practice of training chemical experiment ability and is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction, which describes the background of this research, discusses the purpose and significance of research, and the proposes ideas and methods of the research.The second part summarizes the content, components and formation mechanism of chemical experiment by making the relevant theoretical research on the chemical experiment ability and consulting a large number of documents. And redefined these theories by combining with this paper's purpose and starting points.The third part is a questionnaire survey and interview about the question of the high school students'chemical experiment ability, analysis and conclude that the problem of the training of chemical experiment, including using a single type of learning style inappropriate choice of learning style and not enough learning strategies.The fourth part is the core and key of this paper, and that is applying multi-dimensional learning theory to explore chemical experiment ability. And the exploration aims at the major problems in the third part, sums up in the actual teaching how to train students'chemical experiment ability with the use of variety of learning styles; how to choose the appropriate learning style as the different experiment ability; how to use the appropriate strategies to develop students'ability of chemical experiment. The fifth part is the last link of exploration, and that is the evaluation of students' chemical experiment ability after practice, which include the objects, methods and results. It is noticeable that the evaluation method is a targeted evaluation.And they include paper tests, activity evaluation and portfolio assessment.This study hopes to improve the chemical experiment ability of high school students and provide positive and effective guidance for the experimental teaching.
