The importance of early development during infants and toddler has been paid more and more attention, and for a long time, it has been a common view that the family, especially mother of infants is playing a major role in early childhood care and education. But the social support for families' early care and education is extremely limited, and as the main performer of early education, mothers are facing practical difficulties of support deficiency. With the rapid development of Internet applications, parenting blog has begun to impact mothers'parental life, but there is no related study about the function of these blogs on parenting process yet.This paper uses content analysis method to sort out and analyze parenting blog content, summarizes these blog's features on content orientation, theme, presentation etc. On this basis, combining with the interviewing method, and from the coments of bloggers and readers, the paper analysis the blog's effects on mother, the direct parenting practitioner, then reveals significance of these blogs that improving the situation of family childcare.Study founds that parenting blog involves every aspects of parenting, and the main assistance for mother parenting is as followings:expanding horizons, increasing information, strengthening confidence and practice ability; being helpful for growing-up record, and thus making educational function; helping mother to adapt the changes of the role as a mother, have the sense of belonging and security; promoting mother's self-improvement through self-question. Meanwhile, parental blog is playing an important role in the improvement of early childhood care and education in family, and it is worth of further study.
