| The overall movement of quality-oriented education, we should not only be basis on the operation system, the path how to operate, the relation between quality-oriented education and nine-year school education in China, and the study of experiment on quality-oriented education and so on. The more important thing is that we should know what the theoretical foundation is. Recently, there are two opposite views on the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education, one is the view which the theory of individual all-round development is the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education., and the other is the view which the theory of multiple intelligences is the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education.Although the concept of quality-oriented education there are still different views now, we all know that quality-oriented education is correct basically, the essence of quality-oriented education is individual all-round development in education, which reflect the thoughts of groups and the system of all-round education, and insist on the rules between education and productive labor, and give consideration to persons and the society. While the theory of multiple intelligences is basis on genetics and brain science, and also there are limitations itself. At first, the theory of multiple intelligences has no consideration of the conventionality between human need and development which is from society and in history. It just base on the research of biology, which divides the relationship of society, human and education. It is abstract quality-improvement education if we just talk about the person himself and the structure of people. The theory of multiple intelligences depends more on the one person, while looks down upon learning knowledge, which will lead to cut down learning basic knowledge in curriculum object, neglect teaching books and teachers' conductor. Then, the view which the theory of multiple intelligences is the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education will simplify the relation between quality-oriented education and the theory of multiple intelligences, and the two theories have the huge differences, even contrariety. If we don't realize the limitations which the theory of multiple intelligences is the basic thesis of quality-oriented education, they will make bad influence in realizing and improving the recent quality-oriented education and the educational policy in China. Of course, accepting the limitations, we cannot say make the worst influence in improving the recent quality-oriented education, but on other side, we will get the enlightenment of developing quality-oriented education which is from the theory of multiple intelligences.Accepting the limitations of the theory of multiple intelligences and improving the way of quality-oriented education, we should insist on the view which the theory of individual all-round development is the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education. The thoughts of education form Marxism supports us the whole regulars and directions, and the educational policy in China tells us the theoretical foundation of quality-oriented education is the theory of individual all-round development. In addition, the essence and the basic concepts of quality-oriented education attribute to the theory of individual all-round development, which both have the same points, base on the condition and the restrict society and history, so we could avoid the theory of abstract anthroposophy. |
