Research On The Status Quo Of Girl Graduates' Career Values And Education Countermeasures

With the gradual establishment and improvement of socialist market economy system and the deepening of reform on China's higher education institution, great changes have taken place in the employment environment for all college graduates. Difficult as it is for college graduates, girl graduates find it even harder to find a job. Affected by a series of factors, contemporary girl graduates changed their career values. Accordingly, the ideological and political education of colleges should take on the important task of properly recognize the features of girl graduates'career values, of educating and guiding the girl graduates to set up a scientific career values. It relates with not only the future career life and career development of girl graduates, but also the nation's future development. This paper tries to, on the basis of relevant research studies, further discuss the status quo, defining features, existing problems and education countermeasures of contemporary girl graduates'career values. Hopefully, the paper can offer some ideas for research in this theme.The paper consists of 4 parts.Part one:Definitions of relevant concepts. This part starts with basic concepts of values & career values, discusses the ideas and features of college graduates'career values, and thus lays the foundation for later studies in this regard.Part two:the status quo of girl graduates' career value. According to the survey on the present situations of girl graduates'job motivation, job evaluation, job selection, and job ideals, main features and existing problems presented in their career value under the conditions of market economy are concluded. Part three:analysis of reasons of the emerging of this value. The paper presents in-depth analysis of the factors that have impact on the change of the value. These factors include those of social-economy, social-culture, family circumstance, higher education, and reforms on our country's employment institution.Part four:countermeasures to strengthen the career value education to girl graduates under new circumstances. Education in this aspect is a systematic work, calling for the concerted efforts from society, colleges, families, etc. This paper proposes countermeasures in three ways. First, optimizing the content of the education; second, to innovate in the ways of education and to expand channels for the education; third, to create a positive environment for education this kind. The general objective is to enhance the impact of career value education on girl graduates, which is a special intellectual group.
