There is economic and social development gap between China, as a developing country and other developing countries, especially in rural areas. The education level of rural areas is quite low, too. To change the backwardness of education status of rural primary and secondary schools, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance carried out the Rural Distance Education, which aims to use the information technology as a tool to transfer the high-quality education resources to rural areas by means of playing education discs, setting satellite teaching rating points and computer classrooms. The Rural Distance Education provides primary schools and secondary schools in rural areas a large amount of high-quality education resources, and leading the development of education in rural areas in China from a brand new direction, which to the rural areas is like the energetic spring to the fertile soil. Nowadays, the hardware configuration of rural areas has been basically completed, but the Rural Distance Education is still in the process of development. What we concern about is the benefits that it brings to primary and secondary schools in rural areas. Through the literature review and practical survey, the Rural Distance Education hasn't been fully made used of, and the rural distance resources haven't brought the benefit that it intends to do. The reason is that the rural distance resources haven't been put into sustainable application. To change the status quo of rural areas'education, sustainable application of rural distance resources is necessary. Excellent methods of teaching could provide the power of sustainable application of rural distance resources, and natural classroom is one of these methods. It is based on the ecological point of view, and provides the new horizon of solve complex education problems.In the thesis, based on the advantages of rural distance resources, on the one hand, the author provides theoretical guidance; and on the other hand, he constructs the theoretical framework of how to form the natural classroom from the aspect of the environment of rural distance resources. Literature review, investigation, observation are applied to point out the research background, research possibility and the necessity of the research. From both internal and external reasons of the lack of sustainable application of the rural distance resources, the thesis covers the methods to promote the sustainable application of rural distance resources and the solution. Moreover, based on the sustainable application of the rural distance resources, the meaning of natural classroom is made clear, with the aim of helping teachers in rural areas to fully recognize the benefits and advantages of rural distance resources and use them in practical classes.Based on the objective analysis of investigating the use of rural distance resources of Liaoning Province, the author investigates why sustainable application of rural distance resources hasn't been put into practice. In addition, the practical strategy of sustainable application of rural distance resources is stated. The high-quality rural distance resources and equipments are beneficial of constructing natural classroom, and meanwhile, constructing natural classroom is the power of sustainable application of rural distance resources. At last, the design of using rural distance resources to construct natural classroom is stated to compare it with traditional classroom, aiming at suggesting a new teaching method. The construction of natural classroom proposed in the thesis is just the model to be considered on the basis of using rural distance resources sustainably, and aims to change the present situation of education in rural areas.
