A Study Of Citizens's Fertility Desire In Zengcheng

Population control is the key problem in maintaining sustainable development. Thispaper investigates the fertility desire of the citizens in Zengcheng and analyzes the currentsituation and influencing factors of fertility desire based on the related theories and methodsin sociology, demology and economics. Policies and suggestions are proposed in order toeffectively solve the population problems, and the paper concludes that fertility desire shouldbe optimized among the masses to consciously increase or reduce the population, andmaintain the sustainable development of population.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part describes the practical and theoreticalsignificance of the topic, and tries to make research ideas and methods clear. The second partfocuses on the definition of several key concepts :fertility desire, opinion of birth., birthculture, the low birth rate, replacement level, total fertility rate, sex ratio at birth, populationaging, dependency ratio of population, population reproduction , inertia of populationreproduction, population pyramid, population bonus,three peaks at birth in Chinac.learing theintension and extension of the concept; at the same time, the paper also further analyzes howthe reproductive wishes works on the population control policy and how foreign populationcontrol fields use the area of fertility. The third part is to make a survey of the fertility desireof the citizen in Zengcheng City. First of all, design questionnaire. And then conducted aquestionnaire survey and analyzes the situation and the wishes of its associated factors. Thefourth part analyses citizens's fertility desire stituation and causes of the urban citizen growthwill. The fifth part discusses the city's future population trends from birth willingness survey,adopting the fifth census data in the city, accordance with under the control of the current totalfertility rate policy (1.5 children)and accordance with the questionnaire obtained the averagefertility rate (1.88 children) using CPPS2008 population projections forecast by the softwarethe next 40 years the city population situation. The sixth part through the citizens's fertilitydesire , causes and predict the future trend of population on the basis of comprehensivelyaddressing population issues put forward the conclusions and recommendations: Thescientific social development plan and goal of population control ought to be formulated.Meanwhile, based on investigation of the general public's fertility desire and its cause offormation, effective measures could be adopted to help the general public to optimize theirfertility desire, so as to reach the goal of population control purposefully. That would be betterthan enforcement measures, easier to be accepted and more effective to realize the sustainabledevelopment of population resource.
