The classroom instruction is both a subject and a kind of art. It is a platform on which thoughts or feelings between teachers and students are exchanged. It is a carrier of knowledge as well. In addition, the classroom instruction exhibits the basic skills of a teacher, who passes on knowledge, educates on various subjects, and solves problems. In the junior high school biology classroom instruction, whatever the teaching material, teaching means teaching method and teaching model is, the biology teaching will be realized finally through the teaching language. The correctness of the language used in class is crucial to the teaching efficiency. The correctness of the language used in class is crucial to the teaching efficiency. The teaching language in this essay refers to the language related to both biological terminology and the instructional language. The former refers to the language applied to introduce the structure, function and characteristics of the creatures and the biological phenomena, including biological concepts and terms and phenomena, etc. It is the most core part of biology teaching language. The latter mainly deals with the language employed in the organization of the teaching and learning activities. The latter part has something in common with the language used in other subjects and it serves for the biology teaching. It requires the language art in classroom teaching.The research summarizes the study of the implement of language art in teaching at home and abroad to conduct research and development by literature search method, analyze the theoretical basis of language art in teaching, clarify the differences between the characteristics of language art in teaching and traditional teaching methods, contact with new course concept, explore the meaning and role of language art in teaching in the junior high school biology teaching. It also probes into the principles and methods of the selection of the language together with the merits and limits on the implementation, the main links between language art in teaching and classroom teaching mode, accumulation of junior high school biology teaching cases. Using questionnaire survey and interviews method, this research studies the necessity of the implementation of language art in teaching. The research is based on the Jiangsu Science and Technology Publishing Edition of Junior High Biology Textbook. The subjects of the research are the students of our school. The research applies the quasi-experimental method to study the impact of the implement of language art in teaching on student's academic performance.This research indicates that it strengthens the bond among curriculum contents, student life experiences and the development of both social and technological. On this basis, students'motivation and interest is cultivated. As a result, the students may experience academic achievements in biology learning. Their ability of analyzing and solving problems and their ability of inquiry and cooperation will in turn be advanced.Finally, based on the practice, the research puts forward the advice to implementing the language art in the junior high school biology teaching:To be a competent or even an excellent junior high school biology teacher and to raise the effect of teaching, we should make strict demands on ourselves in terms of the language we use in classroom instruction. That is, to purse language art. The purpose of doing so is to ensure the students to learn biology better and know better that biology is a school of science and eventually, enable the students to think about and solve problems independently. The teachers should know clearly the student's specific learning conditions and choose different expressions for students accordingly; The teachers should target at the improvement of pedagogical quality and ideas of their own and at improving the language level of their own. The teachers should strengthen communication to raise their professional ethics and competence, establish relative case-resource library. This essay provides reference for the majority junior high-school biology teachers in implementing language art in teaching.
