The thesis is divided into four parts, taking The Outline of National Spirit Education of Shanghai Students and The Outline of Life Education of Shanghai Students as its theoretical basis.The first part elaborates the significance of life education in Chinese teaching in middle school, holding that permeating life education embodies not only the need of social and economic development, but the inexorable trend of modern educational development as well.The second part explains the connotation and foundation of permeating life education. It emphasizes that the key point of life education lies in life ethic, analyzing from the perspectives of Chinese traditional culture, Marx's Philosophy and Maslow's Theory of Need Level. The third part expounds the characteristics of life education and the strategies of its implementation. From the angles of text resource and social resource, the last part offers an exposition which reflects various course sources.By analyzing four cases, the fourth part offers vivid and abundant materials and instructions about how to permeate and carry forward life education from the perspective of classroom teaching practice.
