The new curriculum standard states:"It is necessary that the mathematical notion teaching return to its reality, express the formed process of mathematical notion, let pupils understand one mathematical notion from the many sides of the reality form of notion, the abstract process of notion, the instruction effect, the form statement and the using of the symbol of the mathematical thinking, and make it suit for the education principle of the pupils active construction."The main question of this study is the current situation investigation of the senior middle school mathematics teacher for the senior middle school mathematical kernel notion teaching. The study origin materials and data are come from the part of senior middle school mathematics teachers of Wuxi Jiangsu through test the paper questions, listen the class lessons, and interview the teachers. The materials analyses and data deal with used of the study methods of the qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative method main applied to the data of the class listen and interview, the quantitative method main applied to the data of the paper tests. The two methods can help with each other. The main conclusion of this study is: the current senior middle school mathematical teachers have had some recognition for the importance of the notion teaching,but it is not enough in the practice teaching, and the mathematical education ideas and teaching attitude of teachers have some affection which teachers handle with the notion teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters. The chapter one expounds the background of the study which puts forward to the questions and the questions that would be solved, and the necessary of the study. The chapter two constructs the mathematical notion which based upon the analysis, summary and induction of the relative articles. The chapter three constructs the mathematical notion teaching which based upon the analysis, summary and induction of the relative articles. The chapter four states the research design and the investigation process which the current senior middle schools teacher for the situation of the senior middle school mathematical kernel notion teaching, and analyzes the results of the investigation. The chapter five puts forward to the suggestion about the senior middle school mathematical notion teaching.
