China and Thailand are close neighbors. Both Thailand and China still have a tributary system and relationship. The connection of the people of these two countries has more than a thousand year history long, and the culture of economy exchange is cautious and meticulous. There is art and culture, physical culture and education exchange between these two countries. The quantity of trade of them gradually increases year by year, the economy activities are also happening with increasing frequency. In term of the relationship between China and the countries in South East Asia, China and Thailand has a strong relationship. They both pay great attention to good neighborly relations and cooperation of each other. Even though they have both economic cooperation and competition, cooperation is greater than competition. And this cooperation benefits both sides. Therefore, there is a bright future development of economic and trade relation of China and Thailand.According to the record, China and Thailand have had a connection since the early Han-Tang dynasty. We can say that China and Thailand are siblings. In Thailand, there are a lot of Thai-Chinese people. Because of cultural infiltration, these two countries have both similar and different custom and culture. If you need to run business with other country, it is necessary to get insight the culture of that country. Every country has some difference in culture. To get insight other country culture, it is useful for coordination and it lets business cooperation run easier and smoother. This thesis conducts the research on the culture of China and Thailand.The thesis conducts the research on the case of fruit market which is a common product of the people's life, everybody can consume it. There are many consumption characteristics can show the cultural differences between China and Thailand. Fruit trading is so important for these two countries. Follow the free trade area of ASEAN, China and Thailand's fruit trading are being challenged. This research is conducted on China and Thailand's fruit consumption and trade by using data analysis method. The data is collected from Department of Statistic and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the both countries'statistic yearbooks of fruit trading data, the introduced background of fruit trading zero-tariff agreement between China and Thailand and other relevant data. This thesis discusses the effect of zero-tariff implementation and estimates Thailand's market opportunities to export Lansium domesticum to China's market, including strategic analysis. Moreover, this thesis put forward countermeasure and suggestion to develop fruit market of China and Thailand. The finding shows both sides have an intense competition in fruit market; however, they also have complementary. So, the opportunity to open up China's market with Thai fruits is available.
