Writing teaching is always the key and difficult point of Chinese teaching, and narrative writing teaching is a basic part of writing teaching. In this paper, according to my own teaching practice and under the guidance of Chinese Curriculum Standard, the author finds some problems in students'compositions of narration, such as selected material is insipid and identical; narrative content isn't detailed and specific. Moreover, the author also explores some feasible methods toward these problems to improve the narrative writing of students of primary school and middle school.The paper consists of three parts. The chapter one mainly discusses the characteristics of narrative writing, the status and importance of narrative writing in the Chinese writing teaching. On the one hand, this part introduces the common sense of narrative style, and writing requirements of narration; on the other hand, discusses the basic status of narrative writing in the writing and teaching of compositionThe chapter two is the body, which mainly discusses some common problems of narrative writing and some measures. These problems can be discussed from two parts. The one is material selection; the other is the problem that the content isn't detail and specific. As for the material selection, the problem mainly lies in that selected material is insipid and identical. The author mainly analyses this problem from two ways, angels and requirements of selecting material. As to the problem of content, the author makes some attempt. On the one hand, teacher should teach students to use flexibly the method of figure description in the process of narration, such as appearance depiction, language description, action description, expression description, psychological activity description, etc. On the other hand, teachers should teach students use flexibly scenery description, such as weather description, description of the scene, expressing emotion by describing scenery, etc. This method not only can rich content of composition, but can also make the composition more specific and lively.The chapter three mainly discusses the concrete implementation way of narrative writing teaching, namely in practical teaching process how to implement these methods, to solve these problems.
