The new Curriculum Standards shows a strong indication that the High School Education is based on a nine-year compulsory education. This is intended to lay the foundations for the students'lifelong development. However, the university entrance examination sometimes restricts high school curriculum reform. As indicated in this thesis, the comparison study is an important approach for practicing the New Curriculum Criterion philosophy and reforming the curriculum evaluation system, hence achieving the reform in the university entrance examination and the Senior Curriculum. In this thesis, according to literature of domestic and international high school education, the objectives of the mathematics curriculum, the course contents, the examination outline, and the examination design were compared using the wealth of mathematics examination design overseas to put forward the idea of working out the mathematics examination questions in our country. This is hoped to increase the content of compilation. In the mean time, this thesis indicated that the comparison study promotes the teacher's professional development and the strategy of this development. In research methods, this research used the method combining integrative comparison and quality. Firstly, this study used the method of combining vertical and horizontal comparison, macro and micro comparison, and combining the methods from domestic and international research. Studies showed that in our country, the advantage of the college entrance examination is that it can attach mathematics as a double-base and blend knowledge and diathesis together along with checking the examinees'mathematics accomplishment. However, the inadequacy is that the examination questions are comparatively general, and the conclusion is relatively closed, which is unfavourably for cultivating and pullulating of the innovative personnels. Secondly, through case study, the researches especially focused on the influence of designing the examination question on teacher's professional development. Through horizontal and vertical comparison, this thesis discussed mathematics examination design in our country and made some beneficial trials. In addition, this thesis also provided the mathematics teachers some useful ideas and methods in their professional development.
