According to the rough statistics, the number of college students has increased to about 28 million by 2010 in China, which symbolizes the higher education in China has come to the popularization stage. With the strategy of over-enrollment and popularization for education, the number of graduates are increasing year by year, which leads to a serious employment situation for graduates, and partly appear the situation of supply exceed demand, and the compition for jobs has become more and more serious. With the innovations for education strategies and education concepts, more and more people begin to putting their eye on the area of entrepreneurship education, so as to fullfill the diversified demand for talents, and expect entrepreneurship education becoming the very key to solve some social problems.The education department assigned tsinghua university and other eight universities as the pilot colleges of entrepreneurship education in 2002, and held the national university education seminar, which started the heyday of entrepreneurship education in Chinese universities. In the past 10 years, entrepreneurship education moved forward in the dark, from copying western education mode at the very beginning to cultivating a suitable one for their own, and at last it developed "tsinghua mode" and "Shanghai jiaotong university mode". However, in the process of exploration for entrepreneurship education, our universities met some difficulties and confusions which had caused some detours in the way. Through the study of the entrepreneurship education, and with the educational examples both at home and abroad, in line with the attitude of discovering and solving problems, the paper will summarize the disadvantages of entrepreneurship education on the basis of relevant theories and experience, and it will put forward some suggestions for improvements.The paper is divided into five parts. In the first part, it introduces the basis, the significance and the expection; in the second part, it states the theories of entrepreneurship education and their value and significance; in the third part, it lists the examples of entrepreneurship education both at home and abroad; in the fourth part, it analyzes the current situation of entrepreneurship education in our country and the reasons why we are backward; and in the fifth part, it put forward some suggestions for improvements in entrepreneurship education.
