Church University is a special form of education appeard in the history of the education in China in the late 19th century. When these Church universities were founded in China, each had their purpose and mission, which we can call The Best Laid Plans. But objectively speaking,these Church universities played an inestimable role in the process of Chinese higher education. As the carrier of Chinese and foreign education communication appeared with unequal treaties protection and under special historical conditions, Church universities in the different stages of their development, also had a positive effect on Chinese higher education and the whole Chinese education modernization in various ways. This topic is a case study of Yenching University in the period of Anti-Japanese War. After December 1941 when Japan attacked on Pearl Harbor, from July 1937 to December 1941, Yenching University continued to run under the aegis of the United States flag in Beijing occupied areas to resist Japan's enslaved education; From 1942 to 1945, because the Pacific War broke out, the false peace between Japan and the United States evolved into the true war, the president Mr. Stuart was in captivity. Yenching University had to move to Chongqing. And it moved back to Beijing in 1945. This topic is divided into two periods to carry on the inspection to Yenching University, in order to see small clue, to show the style and features of Yenching University during this special time.
