| Fudan University, originally named Fudan Public School,was founded by Ma Xiangbo in 1950. The two words "Fudan" are from this rhesis "brilliance of the sun and moon will last day after day",which are selected from the《Shangshu dazhuan Yu Xia Biography》,and imply that it would strive constantly for lasting self-improvement. Since then, a well-known institute of higher education-Fudan University appeared in educational history of China.During the eight-year Sino-Japanese War time, Fudan University moved from ShangHai to inside ChongQing, then moved back agagin;in the meantime, series of measures, which obtained many unique features,were carried out to make sure its development:such as its establishment of institute and department, its teaching management, teachers construct, campus cultural reconstruction. Thus its ideas of running school and features of education management have provided much for us to make deep thought, "learns from history, may know the prosperity and decline; Learns from history, may the bright success and failure." In this paper, methods of dialectical materialism and historical materialism are taken as guide to comb and analyze the running of Fudan University in Chongqing during the Sino-Japanese War time,so as to get some inspiration for contemporary higher education running and development.In the first part of the paper, it takes the time development as a clue to comb background and process of Fudan University's moving to Chongqing in Sino-Japanese War time, as well as its entire history,reason and inevitability of moving back again. The second part is the key and difficult centralized part of the whole paper. This part mainly analyzes its ideas of running school and practice of Fudan University during anti-Japanese War time from the point of different aspects:its system, its organization, teaching aspect, ideas aspect, cultural aspect, its achievement and so on. And these aspects mainly manifest in funds safeguard, adjustment of institutes and departments, its teaching characteristic, management principle, and its campus culture. This part makes in-depth analysis of characteristic,advantages and disadvantages of each aspect.The third part is purpose of writing this paper, aslo summary section of the whole paper. Basing on the second part's anlysis of running of Fudan University in depth during anti-Japanese War time, this part compares it with contemporary higher education development, and proposes some beneficial enlightenment to nowadays higher education's development. |
