The emergence of the Internet has brought great changes in era, in the constructivist theory driven, Collaborative Learning is taken more and more seriously. Google sites is one of a team collaboration sites focused on the editorial product. Seamless integration of Google Calendar, Google Docs, Picasa, Gmail and a series of online applications. The personalized, sharing, openness can provide a platform in collaborative learning for the learners. How to improve the learners'technical capacity by the educational technology training, so that the teachers can take on the important task of education informationization has become one of the themes which the global education communities concern.Through the practice research of training the local teachers' education technology course, we organize learners to learn and collaborate on. We hope through this study to explore the possibility in educational technology training based on Google sites platform and improving the training effect.The dissertation involves six chapters.Chapter one introduces the background and the value of this study topic, its significance as well as the content and methodology involved.Chapter two define the relevant terms, in which involves the Collaborative Learning theory and Web-based Collaborative Learning.Chapter three introduced the Google sites and features, analyzes the possibility of Collaborative Learning based on Google sites, explores the basic functions and features of Google sites and Google services, preliminary investigation of students.Chapter four describes design of Google sites platform, include Preparation before class.Chapter five is about the practical research of Collaborative Learning based on in its application in Educational Technology course. The effectiveness of Google sites was assessed based on case studies and user survey.Last but not least, we summary the research, points out some limitations and the future works.
