Statistics as an important part of mathematics in the primary and junior schools, is more and more attention. "The Syllabus of Mathematics Curriculum for Secondary Vocational School " issued by the Ministry of Education in 2009 have stated that statistics should be an required course of mathematics. In order to better teaching and extensive research in this area, also for the development of school-based textbook in Wuxi Teachers'College based reference materials, the writer has studied the math teaching statistical analysis and teaching strategies on the base of some literature.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part illustrates the background, purpose and practical significance of research. It has established the content, method and framework of the thesis as well.The second part is mainly about the summary .It articulates history, current situation, development prospects and value of the curriculum of statistics at home and abroad, and it also explains the importance of statistics of mathematics in the secondary vocational school.In the third part, the writer investigates and analyzes the current situation of the vocational mathematics statistical teaching. Through feedback from teachers and students, the writer summarizes the causes of teaching statistics. It is direction for research.Part IV courses combining mathematics curriculum and professional requirements in terms of both the content of the teaching of statistics required to do more research, establishes the necessity of statistics in mathematics curriculum.The fifth part makes recommendations of teaching in two ways. First, it proposes that statistics teaching content should be rearranged and integraed into the professional courses. And then it makes recommendations that the teachers should pay more attention to statistics and change the traditional teaching concepts. The sixth part gives an example of teaching designs.At last it raises pending questions for further study.
