Research On The Status Of Shanghai Citizen's Demand For Watching Major Sports Events

With the development of national economy, Shanghai is hosting more and more major national and international sport events in recent years. Archery World Cup Shanghai Station and other major sport events have also attracted a lot of sports fans to come over and got great success.The hosting of these sport events not only improves the popularity of Shanghai as an international metropolis, but also largely drives the national economy demand in Shanghai and stimulates local economy. Study on Shanghai citizens'demand for these events will help to know citizen's relative needs, thus providing theoretical basis and refrences for government to make pertinent layouts.In sport event industry, the on-spot spectation demand is an important aspect of sport event demand, affecting the success of hosting. It's also viewd as the emphasis of the study. According to relevant theories of consumer psychology, the external behavior is the reflection of mental activity, and consuption behavior is also subject to various psychological factors. As the main body of major sporting event consumption, Shanghai citizens choose to spectate on spot under the influnce of their psychological factors and some external factors, such as culture and custom. The consuption behavior is the comprehensive reflection of spectators'subjective and objective factors. This paper attempts to reaserch and analyze the reason of on-spot spectation, so as to identify main restrictive factors affecting citizens's on-spot spectation and to propose relative advices. The study results show that some factors, such as citizens's economic status, awareness of sport event, customs of watching games, transpotation, and information obtaining make great influnces on citizen's on-spot spectation.This paper analyzes the following parts: First, watch the scene of major sporting events at home and abroad over Shanghai people's basic situation;Second, watch live sporting events at home and abroad over Shanghai people live sporting events in the analysis of related factors; Third, the impact is not the site to watch major sporting events at home and abroad over Shanghai people of related factors.
