Research On The Administration Of Ethnic Minorities Among Immigrant Floating Population In Zhengzhou

Modern society is a floating society. With the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization and the rapid increase of market economy, more and more crowds flock to cities from rural regions to seek more work opportunities.Zhengzhou—a city of rapid development in central China—attracts more floating population by its unique geographical location, convenient and efficient transportation facilities and prosperous trade. More and more crowds flock to Zhengzhou to take up an occupation. The rapid growth of population enriches urban cultural and social life, at the same time, it makes urban administration become more complex diversity and difficult.Urban administration is an important part of urban work and its management level is a major aspect and a basic performance of urban civilization. Urban administration is a relatively stable work and mechanism. All the aspects of floating population—residence, family planning, public security, employment and children's education—increased the workload and difficulty of urban administration. Ethnic minority floating population is a part of floating population. On account of their special identities, languages, custom and habits, it added the particularity of urban administration. The problems and difficulties in the process of integration gradually attract much attention of the government.While how to strengthen the administration of minorities floating population is becoming hot spot and difficult problem of the urban ethnic work.First of all, this paper introduced the four aspects of population profile of minorities floating population in Zhengzhou—population statistics, culture and custom, occupational composition and residential region. And then, this paper analyzed the living and development conditions of minorities floating population in Zhengzhou through telling their entrepreneurship and life stories.Then, from the perspective of the administration of floating population in Zhengzhou, this paper pointed out the particularity of the administration of minorities floating population. At last, this paper probed into the ways to make the work perfect:Firstly, to intensify awareness of the administration; Secondly, to strengthen the legal construction of administration of floating population; Thirdly, to establish an integrated communication, coordination and management mechanisms;Fourthly, to bring the positive role of ethnic work department into play; Fifthly, to rely on the management of the trades and enterprise.
