Research On The College Student Association Party Building With The Identity Theory

The fundamental task of university is to train large numbers of qualified builders for socialist modernization. Student association, an informal group organized on interests and hobbies, has gradually become the main battlefield of extracurricular activities and the main place for student learning and communication. With the help of the identity theory, this article carries out the research on association party building so as to contribute to the leadership consolidation of the ruling party. As we all know, public support is the root for a political party to survive and develop; therefore, college party building must firmly grasp the position of college association.Party building penetrating into student associations'essence is to develop good political relations and point out the right directions, so as to provide ideological and organizational guarantee for the healthy development of college associations. At a deeper level, by making full use of the Party organization, by developing association party building, party building penetrating into student associations exerts the advanced nature of party members among the college associations, enhances association cohesion and association attraction to retain its vitality. Eventually it will strengthen young students'identity and familiarity with the ruling party and attract more non-party truth-seeking students to refill fresh blood into the party organization, keeping its youthful vitality.Sorting the existing research fruit and based on the identity theory, this article puts forward the idea of association party building, and analyzes its feasibility and indispensability. Under the guidance of the identity theory, through establishing the department of association party building, forming branch associations and selecting guiding teachers, association party building creates different kinds of practicing platforms to render the party widely accepted by association members, hence promoting the ruling party's social affirmation foundation and improving the effectiveness of college party building. As an innovative attempt to college party building, applying the identity theory to college association party building is of great importance.
