| E-government is considered as a more and more important method, through which governments can perform public administrations and fulfill their service commitments in a better manner. And the general portal of e-government is playing a critical role in those government operations. However, in our country, the general portal of e-government still needs further improvements and currently the majorities citizens are still have a low usage intention. Therefore,it is meaningful to study citizens'intention to use the general portal of e-government.Firstly, TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and IS Continuance Model are reviewed as two classic models about how users accept information technologies, and related theoretical achievements are also summarized. Secondly, a model of citizens' continuance usage about the general portal of e-government is put forward based on classic IS Continuance Model. During this hypotheses model, perceived trust and perceived playfulness are introduced as intrinsic factors, and social influence and computer self-efficacy are integrated as extrinsic factors. Finally, a survey about people's continuance intention of using the general portal of Shanghai government is conducted to verify the hypotheses model. The results suggest that citizens'continuance intention is determined by their perceived usefulness, perceived trust and perceived playfulness. Citizens'perceived usefulness is influenced by their confirmation of expectation from prior usage and social influence. Citizens'perceived trust is also influenced by social influence and citizens'perceived playfulness is influenced by their confirmation of expectation from prior usage. |
