The Problem of the South China Sea mostly Points to the surrounding countries' divarications and conflicts on both the sovereignty of the islands or reefs and the compartmentalization of the South China Sea.In the Asia and Pacific region,the area of the South China Sea is recognized to be one of the districts where the conflicts could break out most potentially.It is also one of the factors that could affect the tranquilization and the development of the area of the region.Recently,this problem is being internationalized gradually:the sea area is being divided and its resources are being ransacked,the South China Sea problem has been gradually internationalized,sea area has been divided,resources have been exploitated,all these problems seriously damaged our country's rights and interests in the South China Sea,severely damaged our national security.This paper analyzes the ownership of the South China Sea.Give a clear explanation that the Nansha Islands had always been China's territory since ancient times.To explore the important impact that the maritime rights of the South China Sea has made to China's national security on three aspects,which are:the sovereignty of Nansha islands dispute challenge the security interests of our territory;the South China Sea issue is the impact of China's energy security;the South China Sea to China's military security has an important geo-strategic value.This paper insists that China should unswervingly adhere to the position of sovereignty over the South China Sea.We should take international law as the basic principles.We should peacefully settle the disputes of South China Sea through bilateral negotiations,insisting on the principles of putting aside disputes and jointly development.
