Job burnout, happens when the stress or prolonged frustration of a job or career contributes to emotional and physical exhaustion, was thought of as problem experienced by those who have a people-helping job. Such jobs include teachers, police officers, doctors, nurses, psychologists, lawyers, store clerks, customer representatives, and so on.Job burnout, It has been studied frequently over the past 30 years Originally, but job burnout in traffic police has rarely been studied, this why I choose to study on the job burnout in the traffic police of the chengdu city.In the fist part of the article, the author has explained the realistic meaning in studying on the job burnout of the traffic police, and has done simple exposition on the research current situation about job burnout. The purpose for it is to explain the background and theoretical foundation about the job burnout.In the second part of the article, on the basis of research of numerous scholars, the author has explained the meaning of the job burnout. Job burnout is a condition that involves three clusters of symptoms: emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment. This part also explained what causes job burnout.In the third part of the article, it is the research about the theories of job burnout and the current station about the job burnout.In the fourth part of the article, through the measurement instruments of job bumout (Maslach Burnout Inventory MBI), the author analyzed the job burnout of the traffic police from several aspects.In the last part of the article, the author has drawn the concrete tactics to deal with the job burnout of the traffic police.
